the Fire Department.

The RMAF has been always at the forefront in helping the government in
addressing any calamities. When the whole nation was plagued with the
haze problems, the RMAF was called to assist by providing the platform for
the cloud seeding operations throughout the peninsular and
Sabah and Sarawak.

The involvement of RMAF personnel in the United Nations peace keeping missions started in Namibia in 1989. Since then the RMAF commitment in the global theater has increased through various missions such as in Cambodia, Somalia, Western Sahara, Angola, Liberia, Kuwait and Bosnia - Herzergovina.
